Living the Sweet Life
Many of you may know this already, but for those that do not as of mid January this year I am no longer on the truck full time. You may remember that he proposed to me in Dallas this past August at GATS. While I enjoy the sweet life of living on the road, after three years of 24/7 in 120” of space I realized I needed a break. Like I told him, I needed my own space or we would be divorced before we ever got married. I love him with all my heart, but cabin fever was setting in and it was time for us to have a place to call home again. That home space came in the form of a small place in downtown Las Vegas.
So what does this mean? Sweet Life will continue to blog and update about life in the truck and across America. I still plan to go out on the road with him from time to time. So I will share stories from the road, my cooking recipes from the truck, as well as helpful technology and products for truckers. However, I will also begin to feature about life happening right here in Las Vegas.
Sweet Life is more than just the amazing trucking lifestyle, it is about life in general. No matter where you are, what you are doing, or who you are with, always make the best of things and create that Sweet Life for yourself!
Forget the Destination. Enjoy the Journey!
